Great PumpkinFest 4K Road Race, in Blue Hill, ME. Registration in the parking lot of Tradewinds Market between 10:00-11:00 AM. Fun Run will begin at 11:00 AM. 4k race will begin at 11:30 AM. 4k Race will begin at Tradewinds Market and end at the Blue Hill library. Tradewinds Market is located at the intersection of Rt 15 and South Street in Blue Hill. Fun Run and 4k will begin at Tradewinds Market. The 4k race will end at the Blue Hill library. The course is wheel measured. A large part of the course is downhill with the rest mostly flat with two short uphill sections. Students- $6; Adults-$10; Fun Run –Free (All proceeds will be donated to the George Stevens Academy Cross-Country team and the Blue Hill Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund). T-Shirts: Free to the first 50 entries (4k race only). Awards: Male and Female overall winner. Medals for male and female division winners. Ribbons for 2nd and 3rd in each division. Ribbons for all Fun Run entrants. Raffle drawings after race. Locker Rooms and Bathrooms will be available at George Stevens Academy. Race to End Domestic Abuse/10th Annual Womancare River Run and Family Walk, at Piscataquis Community Middle School, Blaine Ave., Guilford, ME. Race #9 in the Tradewinds Marketplace/Sub 5 Track Club Road Race Series (12K). 12K Run/5K Run/Family Walk. Registration at 8:00 a.m. 12K begins at 9:00 a.m. with the 5K shortly after. The course is fast, flat, and will follow the scenic trail along the Piscataquis River during peak foliage season and pass by historic sites such as the Piscataquis Covered Bridge. Course is wheel measured and race features include electronic results, water stops, mile markers, and showers. www.wmncare.org
13th Annual Rise 'n Shine Family Fun Run Road Race, Augusta, ME.
Registration will start at 7:00 a.m., at Kennebec Savings Bank (our sponsor). Walkers will start at 8:00 a.m., and runners will start at 9:00 a.m. The route will begin from the Bank parking lot, incorporate the Kennebec River Rail Trail and end at the new Y location on 31 Union Street in Augusta. Refreshments, prizes, awards and facility tours will follow, at the new Y, at 10:00 a.m. Bussing will be available to return race participants to their vehicles at the bank! The Y will also be conducting a grand opening/open house that whole day Saturday at this new location. We really hope race participants and their families will take this chance to check out our great new facility! In addition to the traditional 5K route, there will be a 1-mile fun run as well, to encourage more youth participants. Adult only teams and family teams can also compete this year. Pre-registration forms will be available at the Augusta Kennebec Savings Bank branch, or at the Kennebec Valley YMCA. Past participants will receive a form in the mail. 2nd, and 3rd place male and female age group winners in the following
divisions: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over. A
Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the first open and female high school and
middle school teams of 5 or more entrants.

PM at the YMCA on Park Street. Run just prior to Bar Harbor's
Halloween festivities, this race starts and finishes on Park Street near the MDI
YMCA and runs out and back on Ledgelawn Avenue which will be closed to auto
traffic for the evening. All ages and costumes are encouraged! Awards will
be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females and 1st place male and
female age group winners: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60
and over.
