Gardiner 5-Mile Road Race at 8:00 AM, beginning and finishing at Maine General Medical Center’s Gardiner Campus (150 Dresden Avenue). Proceeds to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Gardiner. Changing rooms, time splits, a water stop, refreshments, and t-shirts (while they last) will be provided. Glenburn Road Race, registration at Glenburn Fire Station, Lakeview Road, Glenburn. Registration: 8-9 a.m. Race Start Time: 9 a.m. Race Length: 3 miles. Course Description: Begin at front of Fire Station, on to dirt roads in Homestead Estates left onto tar road down Lakeview Road to tar road right onto Hudson Road, to left on to dirt road through Sparkle Pond Trailer Park across Hudson Road into grass sports fields behind Glenburn School finishing behind the school. Ribbons and awards by gender/age group given at end of race. Cost: $8.00 per adult 18 above. 17 and under, $5.00. Checks made out to Glenburn Recreation.
