Peter Ott's 10K, Children's 1 Mile Fun Run, and 33 Challenge at Camden, ME. Peter Ott's Tavern and Steak House on Bayview St. Registration 7 - 8:15 AM. 1 mile fun run at 8:30, 10K at 9:00 AM. $10 for children's race, $18 for 10K (first 140 racers get a free souvenir beer mug with race logo). Free to past overall male and female winners. 33 Challenge Info - This is the 33rd running of a 10K in Camden and to celebrate we're looking for runners ready to take the challenge of running a sub 33:00 race. Are you ready for the challenge? Restaurant Challenge - This Challenge is for teams made up of restaurant employees. A traveling trophy is awarded to fastest team and another plaque is added for fastest individual restaurant employee. Lots of fun to challenge your competition eateries. Entry fees are $15 for runners and walkers ($12 pre-registration by June 4th), $10 for students, or $25 per family. T-shirts to first 50 entrants. Awards to top female and male age group winners. Tour du Lac 10 Miler, Bucksport. The 35th Annual Tour du Lac 10 Miler starts at 7:30 a.m. on June 26, 2010. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Bucksport Town Pool. Race entry is $13.00. Proceeds benefit the Anne Norton Scholarship Fund and the Sub5 Scholarship Fund. Potluck lunch after race at the Clappers just before Mile 1 of the race course. 5k Run/Walk/Dog Walk, Winterport, ME. Race starts at 9 a.m. in Winterport. Sponsored by the Winterport Business Association. The 5k will start in the downtown and go up to the middle school and through the woods for a brief time and then return to the downtown to finish. It is $10/person and $1/dog and is a fundraiser for the towns 150th birthday celebration this summer.
