Maine High School Cross Country       

GUIDELINES

NOTE TO COACHES: THE POLL FOR THE FIRST WEEK IS DUE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 @ 6:00 PM.  AFTER THAT, VOTES ARE DUE EVERY MONDAY @ 6:00 PM.

1.  Vote for top 10 teams, regardless of class, based on weekly performance, not on projections.  Points will be assigned 10 thru 1.  The top 10 teams, along with those schools receiving votes, will be sent to Maine daily newspapers and the Sub 5 website http://www.sub5.com/pvcxc/home.htm every Monday evening. 

 

2.  Ballots must be e-mailed to George Towle at Gtowle@usm.maine.edu each week on Monday by 6:00 PM.  Coaches may vote for girls, boys, or both.  Coaches should include their name and what school they coach at.  ALL MAINE HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY COACHES ARE WELCOME TO VOTE!

3.  By a vote of the coaches, there will be no poll based on state meet results.  The last poll will be after the regional meets.
