The Best in Maine Run at the Festival of Champions

Join us Next Year on September 30, 2006

          

  Mandy Ivey of Oxford Hills and Corey DeWitt of Ellsworth run to victory at the 4th Maine XC Festival of Champions at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast.  Ivey ran a strong race, leading the whole way, and finished with a time of 19:06 for the 5K course.  DeWitt broke away from a 4 person pack and outleaned Tyler Clark of Lisbon to finish with a time of 16:07.  In tight team races, the MDI girls won their showdown with Cape Elizabeth by a 124 to 138 score and the Mt. Blue boys upended Cumberland, RI by 4 points (79 to 83).  Heather Spurling of MDI (20:41) and Robbie Leeman of Lewiston (17:49) won the freshman races.  Photos courtesy of Bob Snow.  Complete Results

    Deadline is past - the bibs have been ordered.  If coaches want to verify that their roster was received, click here.  Teams and individuals can still enter the meet up until the next deadline (September 23), but they will not receive personalized race bibs.
